BUTTER RUM CARTOON in the 1970's

Here's a photo of my army buddy, Bear, after his friend Bill drew the BRC scene on the back of his shirt--illustrating that the Butter Rum Cartoon existed in the 1970's.  Bear and I hiked to the peak of Mount Higgins once, with the intention of staying up there and escaping the stress of civilization.  We lived on wild blueberries for three days.  But after talking about fried shrimp and pizza and such things, we practically ran down the mountain and back to the stress of civilization.  The Butter Rum Cartoon remains, nevertheless, from 1969 until today.
