KIDS IN THE CAR

As we drove home from church on February 9, 1997, our 11-year-old son, Sam, was under the blanket, next to our 4-year-old daughter, Glory, who was innocently sitting there on the front seat. Meanwhile Sam was fiddling with the electric door locks, and Glory was blamed for it. I saw what was going on, so I told them Glory wasn’t doing it.

Then we started goofing around and I said, “Yeah, Glory, what did you make it snow for? Why did you make it this cold out?”

And Glory said, “I didn’t do it! God made the snow come down!”

Then Sam peeked out from under the blanket and said to Glory, “Don’t blame your mistakes on God.”
