NATURE ON A TOILET

One day I was sitting on the toilet, being pestered by a persistent housefly. Finally after a few tries I managed to bat the fly right out of the air with my hand and knock it to the bottom of the sink cabinet. It got caught in a little, spider web I hadn't noticed there before, and began struggling and buzzing. Suddenly a big spider scrambled out from under the cabinet, grabbed the fly, and pulled the prey back out of sight. I never again saw either the fly or the spider. Never before had I felt so delightfully in partnership with nature.
