I've collected and now have every issue of QUICK News Weekly magazine which ran weekly from 1949 to 1953. In them is where I learned about the CHRISTY Sliding Blade Knife. Amazingly these handy knives are still being made, since 1891, and in the same place! I of course ordered one and have now had it for at least a decade now, and am very happy with it. It's in my pocket as I type this. It's strong and can be opened with one hand. If it ever does break, replacement parts are available to order (which I've never needed).
