For those in the Branson MO area . . .
We had a serious plumbing problem, with flooding in the basement. When we turned off the water to the house, the flooding stopped. So we had to juggle between using the Waterbug pump or going without water. For three days we put up with this, not having a clue where the leak was. Thinking it was caused by having our Culligan system taken out, the general manager of Culligan came out for free to replace with pipe a dripping part they had left, which wasn't the problem. But he looked the basement over and found the leak! It was a bad one, in a bad place, squirting out of a concrete block. I asked him if he could recommend a good plumber, and he said Tate Plumbing. I had never heard of them, but called right away, and two friendly men from Tate were here within an hour!
They worked most of the day and they worked hard, digging deep, drilling through brick, replacing pipes, filling the hole, etc. And after we paid them (expensive but reasonable), the main man took us on a tour of our plumbing throughout the basement, complimenting it, and showing us two extra shut-off valves that we hadn't even known were there in 31 years. He shook hands and left with a smile. I give Tate Plumbing five stars.
Above is a picture of the leaking pipe they replaced.
