"I had a lot of adventures with Don Teachman, some good and some bad. But 54 years later, locating and talking with him on the phone, he remembered the two of us in 1960 going to the Lincoln Theater in Mount Vernon WA to see the new movie, "The Time Machine"! What a great movie - great enough for him to remember this. Since then, I've probably watched this movie more than any other. I think it's better than the book, and definitely better than any remake.
The February 1960 issue of Famous Monsters of Filmland, one of my favorite magazines, featured this movie inside.
