Our daughter Glory and son-in-law Richie treated Micki and me to a wonderful day today, driving us to Fayetteville and Bentonville, Arkansas, to peruse fantastic bookshops and eat in unique restaurants, and to visit Sam Walton's nostalgic toy store.
In Bentonville they also took us to Crystal Bridges, a huge and wonderful art museum, including a vast showing of Grandma Moses' paintings! Every time I look at a Grandma Moses painting, I fall right into it. I couldn't resist buying this book afterwards - Grandma Moses: A Good Day's Work. I don't know where I can fit this huge book into the Lund Library, but will do it. It's 10 by 12 inches and an inch thick, 272 pages, and too heavy to carry around. I'm going to get very sore falling into all these pictures!
