THE 1955 WILLYS STATION WAGON

 My grandpa Peter had one of these, and they were often advertised in QUICK News Weekly. 

 

So I couldn't resist buying a 1:18 scale, diecast model of the 1955 Willys Station Wagon from Bradford Exchange for $130.  I also found and bought a 1:18 scale man and woman to sit in it.  It's a beautiful, large, heavy and very detailed model.

 

Then, of course, I had to get a copy of the owner's manual from Archive.org.

(By the way, Willys is pronounced Willis.)
